For Lydia's birthday we found the cutest pop up book called Snap Snap Pop Up Fun. It has all of our favorite zoo animals and the pop-ups are really well done. It has quickly become one of our favorite books to read, and it will be a great book for little brother as well! We also had a lot of fun with the activities this week. Lydi is at the age that she gets really excited to craft but wants to help with EVERYTHING! We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
Activity #1 Lion Coloring Page
Around our house, coloring is a go to project. I work from home, so its awesome when she can sit next to me at the table and be entertained. You can find the link to this coloring page here.
Activity #2 Giraffe Paint Project
Lydia loves to paint so she followed me around for a good 15 minutes while I got all the supplies together saying "I paint I paint I paint" over and over again. I painted her hand yellow to make the head and then let her use a round paint brush to add the spots. She loved it!
Activity #3 Elephant Paper Plate Mask
We love a good mask at our house and this one was super easy to make. I just started by cutting the plate to make the elephant ears and then cut out holes for the eyes. And the trunk and you have an adorable mask that is sure to entertain any toddler.
Activity #4 Crocodile Craft
I was surprised how much Lydi liked playing with this little crocodile. She would run around saying "I get you" and walking it around. Who know pipe cleaner wrapped around a popsicle stick could be so fun!
