This classic was published 30 years ago, and I can understand why it's such a hit! We love reading it and following the mouse and his many adventures, because if you give him a cookie, you end up giving him so much more! Below are 4 fun activities that are sure to be a hit for all the little ones in your life.
What You'll Need:
- Brown, Black, White and Pink Paper
- Paper Plate
- Brown Paint
- Wiggly Eyes
Activity #1- Feeding the Mouse
All we did for this activity is paint a paper plate, draw on a face and cut a mouth. Then we just made paper cookies, and Lydi got to feed the Mouse. It was super easy and she was entertained for quite a while!
Activity #2- Cookie Collage
Lydi was a big helper, and helped me glue the brown and black pieces all over a white piece of paper. You dont have to worry about making a perfect circle, because after they are all glued on just use a bowl to trace and cut out a circle on a separate paper and glue it on top! Just like that you have a cookie!
Activity #3- M is for Mouse
M is for Mouse, so why not make an M into a mouse! The best part was I got to use a lot of the same supplies from the other activities! And I might be biased but I think its pretty darn cute!
Activity #4-Coloring page
I found this cute preschool packet on Pinterest and it has a ton of great activities, this was my favorite. You can download it for free here.
