I can't believe that it's already Christmas. Every year it comes and goes all too soon. There is nothing greater than seeing the magic of Christmas though the eyes of a child. The Night Before Christmas reminds me of waiting up on Christmas Eve to hear Santa and thinking I would be able to stay up, but if I remember correctly, one second actually takes about 20 minutes on Christmas Eve. The activities this week are about that jolly ol' saint!
What You'll Need:
- Strawberries, powder donuts, and spray whip cream
- Red, White, and Brown Paint
- Cotton Balls
- Popsicle Sticks
- Brown Paper Bags
- Red Pom Pom
- Wiggly Eyes
Activity #1- Santa Hats
I couldn't keep little miss grabby hands away from these sweet treats. And they are so fun and simple. All you need are powder doughnuts, strawberries, and spray whip cream. They make the perfect little Santa hat that anyone is sure to enjoy.
Activity #2- Coloring Page
If you didn't notice, this little one has a bum leg. So we have been on the hunt for good coloring pages to keep her entertained. This one is so fun! Link is above for the free printable.
Activity #3- Santa Beard
Do they come any cuter? We just used cotton balls glued to thick white paper in the shape of a beard to create the beard. Just add a popsicle stick and you have the perfect puppet to turn anyone into Santa!
Activity #4- Reindeer Bag
Its the time of year for gift giving and I thought this was a fun way to jazz up a gift bag. All you need is a paper sack, Rudolph's nose and wiggly eyes. Your neighbors will love the packaging as much as the gift inside.
Activity #5- Ornaments
If your anything like us, we are still collecting ornaments to decorate our tree. We made this little Santa ornament and I made sure to write Lydi's name and year on the back so we can always remember when it was made.
